A man stood over me with a gun pressed to the back of my head, threatening to kill me if I didn’t reveal where I hid my safe. While on my knees, listening to my scene partner give his monologue, it clicked, my mind not the gun. After three years of pursuing an acting career in Hollywood, I wanted to be the one to create amazing characters and write their stories instead of performing them. Acting rekindled my passion for writing.
Growing up, I was weaned on paranormal experiences my relatives experienced at my grandparent’s home and the town around it. I was a skeptic, but deep down afraid to go to sleep when I spent my summer vacations there. Then I had a few paranormal experiences that made me a believer. Now all those stories of ghosts, demons, angles, witches, and psychics my imagination created while I pretended to be a sleep in a haunted house yearn to be written.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading fantasy and paranormal stories that revolve around strong female protagonists, distracting my kitten who thinks he is a dog from chewing on my manuscripts, and collecting Wonder Woman statues and comics.
